Why we built AI Insights 365
We're data engineers. We spent years in warehouses, lakehouses, BI tools, dashboards, JIRA queues. We watched the same pattern play out at every company:
"Can someone send me the numbers for Q3?"
"Sure, I'll put it on the list."
Three days later: a Slack DM with a screenshot of a SQL result.
We knew this was solvable. The data was already there. The questions weren't hard. The only thing missing was a fast, trustworthy way to let business teams ask data directly.
What got in the way before
Dashboards forced you to imagine every question in advance. Ad-hoc SQL was gated by analyst availability. BI tools became their own training requirement. Chatbots produced hallucinated answers nobody could trust.
We wanted something different: an AI agent that knows your schema, writes safe SQL, and shows you the query it ran so you can verify. No magic. Just an analyst that never sleeps.
What we built
AI Insights 365 is that platform.
- Plug in a database, a Power BI model, a REST API, a Google Sheet — 24 connectors out of the box.
- Type a question in plain English. The agent writes the SQL, runs it, and explains the answer.
- Every answer ships with its query, the rows it touched, and a chart.
- Save anything as a dashboard, schedule it as an email report, embed it in your app.
On-prem data stays on-prem via the AI Insights Gateway. Cloud data uses direct connections. Your team gets answers in seconds.
