Send Subscription — Insights Delivered, Not Discovered
Today we are introducing Send Subscription, one of the most requested capabilities on the AIInsights365.net roadmap. Send Subscription transforms the platform from a pull-based analytics tool — where users must log in to find answers — into a push-based insights engine that delivers the right information to the right person at exactly the right cadence. Whether you are a CFO who wants the daily revenue snapshot in your inbox at 7:00 AM, a customer-success manager who needs a weekly account-health digest, or an operations lead who relies on hourly inventory alerts, Send Subscription makes delivery a first-class citizen of the analytics workflow.
Why We Built Send Subscription
In our beta program, the single most consistent piece of feedback we received was that users loved the speed and accuracy of AI-generated answers, but struggled to remember to revisit them. A beautifully composed dashboard is only valuable if someone looks at it. A precisely tuned AI agent is only useful if someone asks it questions. Decision-makers do not want to chase data; they want data to find them. Send Subscription closes that gap by turning every reusable artifact in AIInsights365.net — dashboards, saved chats, individual charts, and AI agent reports — into something that can be scheduled, addressed, and delivered.
How It Works
Creating a subscription takes less than thirty seconds. From any dashboard or saved AI answer, click the new Send Subscription icon in the top toolbar. A side panel opens, and you choose:
- Recipients — one or many email addresses, or pre-defined recipient groups managed by your organization administrator.
- Cadence — one-off, daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom cron expression for power users who need finer-grained scheduling.
- Format — inline HTML email with rendered charts, attached PDF, attached CSV/Excel data export, or any combination of the three.
- Personalization — a custom subject line, an introductory message, and
optional Liquid-style merge tokens such as
{{recipient.first_name}}or{{date.long}}. - Filter Overrides — per-recipient parameter values so a single subscription can deliver region-specific dashboards to thirty regional managers in one configuration.
Built for Enterprise Scale
Send Subscription is not a glorified screenshot mailer. It is a fully observable delivery pipeline. Each scheduled run produces an audit record showing the recipients targeted, the data freshness at send time, the rendering duration, the email gateway response, and any per-recipient delivery failures. Administrators can review subscription history from the Super-Admin portal, retry failed deliveries with a single click, and pause noisy subscriptions during maintenance windows. The pipeline is throttled and back-pressure aware, so a subscription with five thousand recipients does not starve a subscription with five.
Security and compliance were design constraints from day one. Subscriptions inherit the row-level security of the user who created them, so an analyst can never accidentally share data they themselves cannot access. Outbound emails are signed with DKIM, dispatched over TLS, and tracked with one-click unsubscribe headers compliant with CAN-SPAM and GDPR. Sensitive datasource columns flagged in the schema designer are automatically redacted before rendering, even if the underlying chart query references them.
Use Cases We Are Already Seeing
In private preview, customers used Send Subscription in ways we did not anticipate, which is always the best signal that a feature is finding product-market fit:
- A retail chain delivers store-level sales-versus-target dashboards to 412 store managers every Monday at 6:00 AM, each filtered to a single store.
- A SaaS company emails a weekly churn-risk roster to customer-success managers, with the AI agent generating a one-paragraph narrative for each at-risk account.
- A logistics provider sends an hourly exception report to the on-duty operations supervisor, switching recipients automatically based on the on-call rotation calendar.
- A marketing analytics team delivers a daily executive briefing PDF that combines five dashboards and an AI-written commentary into a single document.
Crafting the Perfect Subscription
We have learned that the best subscriptions follow three principles: specificity, brevity, and actionability. A subscription should answer one question, contain at most three visualizations, and end with a clear suggested action. Send Subscription includes a built-in template gallery with starter subscriptions for the most common executive scenarios, designed by our analytics team and refined with feedback from the beta cohort.
