Getting Started with AI Insights 365

Welcome. This guide takes you from sign-up to first chart in under ten minutes. No SQL, no BI complexity — just answers.

1. Create your account

  1. Visit aiinsights365.net/auth/register.
  2. Enter your name, work email, organization name, and a strong password.
  3. You're signed in straight away. A confirmation email follows — click the link in it to verify your organization's address.
  4. You're signed in, with a fresh organization and your first report free, with no card and no deadline. Create your first workspace from New workspace.

2. Connect a datasource

From the screen you land on after signing in, click Connect data. The wizard asks for:

  • Type — pick from 24 connectors (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, REST API, file upload or file URL, Power BI, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, MongoDB Atlas, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Google Analytics 4, Google Sheets, Dropbox, OneDrive and more).
  • Name — a label you'll see throughout the app (e.g. Production Orders).
  • Credentials — connection string for SQL, API key for REST, etc.

For on-prem databases, toggle Route via Gateway and select your registered AI Insights Gateway. See Gateway Setup if you haven't installed one yet.

Click Test & Load Fields. You'll see the table list within seconds.

3. Ask your first AI Insight

The AI agent reads your schema and answers natural-language questions. Try:

  • "How many customers signed up last month?"
  • "Top 5 products by revenue this quarter"
  • "Compare daily active users this week vs last week"

The agent writes safe, read-only SQL, runs it, and explains the result inline. You can click Show query to inspect.

4. Build a report

Click Build a report. You do not pick a chart type and then work out how to feed it: the left panel lists Suggested charts ranked from your own columns, the assistant builds a block from a sentence, and Auto Report writes the whole page. See Let the AI build the chart. Your work saves as you go.

5. Publish and schedule a report

From the report click Publish. Set up a subscription with cadence (daily / weekly / monthly) and recipients. The report lands in inboxes on schedule.

You're done

That's the full loop: connect → ask → build → share. Every step takes seconds, not days. Explore the rest of the docs for connector-specific guides, advanced transforms, and embedding.
